Upcoming Cannabis Events at the End of 2025
Author: Cannabismagazine Reading: 2 minutes

The end of 2025 will be an important time for cannabis culture in Europe and beyond. Conferences, trade shows, and festivals are no longer side events but are now the center of an industry that is quickly becoming normal. Whether the participant is an enthusiast, patient, or entrepreneur, these events serve as both celebration and battleground, where regulation and commerce meet, and where the plant can be acknowledged as both a commodity and a reclamation.
In London, the month of December will see forums focused on medical research that will champion cannabinoid therapies for chronic pain and mental health issues. Across continental Europe, exhibitions will take place in Berlin and Barcelona celebrating emergence technologies ranging from hydroponic systems to solventless extraction. In addition to commercial events, there is a more intimate setting of grassroots gatherings. Small collectives presenting music, art, and rituals around the shared joint.
What makes these events important is not just the newness of the events, but the visibility of the events themselves. For decades, cannabis culture existed beneath the surface. Now, policy-makers and capital investors are standing side by side with activists and cultivators. These events will expose important fault lines: who will be in control of cannabis in the future; corporations, patients, or communities. The conversations that take place at the end of the year will echo into policy debates in 2026.
For the leisure participant, it is also educational. People will be able to enjoy CBD-infused drinks, observe live demonstrations of hash-pressing, listen to lectures about sustainable cultivation practices, and much more. Together, these offerings underscore cannabis’s current identity crisis: it is medicine, it is a commodity, it is a lifestyle, and it is a symbol—all at the same time.

Therefore, taking in a cannabis event in late 2025 is not so much a chance to glimpse what potential there may be for the plant, but to refine our day to day habits. Despite the expo halls lighting up the evenings and the side streets filling with smoke, the culture is negotiating its own survival and transition. The end of 2025 may not ultimately resolve all contradictions – but it will certainly lay them bare for public consumption.
